Principal, Corporate Finance - Technology Coverage

About the Job

As a Principal in Barrenjoey's Corporate Finance team, you will contribute to the execution of key mandates across our Technology sector coverage. We work with clients across a variety of financial products, including public and private financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financings.

In your role, you will support all stages of transaction execution with a particular focus on the preparation of presentations, valuation analysis and financial modelling. You will be working within a dedicated Technology team based in Sydney with a specific focus on Software, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and FinTech.

About You

• 1-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate advisory or a related field
• Exposure to or genuine interest in the technology sector
• Strong foundational skills in financial modelling, valuation and quantitative analysis, with a desire to develop further
• Good understanding of M&A and capital markets transaction processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to client-facing materials
• Execution-focused, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Self-starter with a curious mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
