People & Culture Systems and Reporting Lead

The People & Culture Systems and Reporting Lead owns the administration and optimisation of Barrenjoey’s HRIS platform SAP SuccessFactors (SF) and the firm’s people reporting function. The role sits at the intersection of HR technology and data, ensuring systems are reliable and well-configured and that people data is translated into accurate, meaningful reporting for a range of internal and external audiences.

 

In the near term, the role plays a key role in system integration and change management as part of a proposed merger. Ongoing responsibilities include evolving the P&C dashboard, managing people reporting obligations required of a listed entity and delivering HR technology projects end-to-end. The role acts as the central liaison between P&C, IT, Finance, Legal and external vendors.

 

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Optimisation

  • Administer and configure SF modules including user access, workflows, permissions and system settings.
  • Ensure data integrity, system security and compliance through regular audits.
  • Provide technical support and maintain up-to-date system documentation.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities.

 

People Reporting & Analytics

  • Own people reporting and be accountable for the accuracy, consistency and timeliness of all workforce data and reporting outputs.
  • Lead the development and evolution of the P&C dashboard for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Maintain operational dashboards and reports to support workforce planning, compliance and strategic decision making.

 

Merger Integration & System Change Management

  • Support P&C systems and reporting activities for the proposed merger, including data mapping, system configuration, parallel running and cutover planning.
  • Ensure reporting continuity and consolidation of people data throughout the merger.
  • Identify and mitigate system and data risks, escalating where appropriate.

 

Project Management & Implementation

  • Lead or support the implementation of new systems, modules and enhancements from
  • planning through to go-live.
  • Translate business requirements into effective system and reporting solutions.
  • Coordinate UAT, manage project documentation and monitor milestones and risks.

 

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage vendor relationships, overseeing service agreements, support tickets and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver solutions.
  • Deliver training to uplift system adoption, reporting capability and data literacy across the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR systems, administration, people reporting or a related role
  • Hands-on experience administering SAP SuccessFactors or a comparable HCM platform
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain people reporting frameworks, dashboards and analytics
  • Strong project management skills with experience delivering system implementations or enhancements including change management
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in a listed entity or similarly regulated environment
  • Exposure to M&A, system integration or large-scale change management projects
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and integrations

 

You are a detail-oriented and commercially minded HR technology professional who thrives at the intersection of systems, data and people. You bring hands on experience administering HR systems and have a track record of turning people data into clear, actionable reporting for senior stakeholders.

 

You are comfortable managing complexity, whether that is navigating a system migration, building out a reporting framework from scratch or juggling competing priorities across multiple teams. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and you know how to build strong working relationships across functions to get things done.

 

You are naturally curious and improvement-focused, always looking for smarter ways to work and bringing others along with you. Experience in a listed entity or a similarly regulated environment is an advantage, as is exposure to M&A or system integration projects.
